"There is so many historical values in this place. Not only for trading activities, but we want it to become a tourism destination," he expressed while attending Muara Baru PIM groundbreaking, North Jakarta, Thursday (2/8).
Fish Auction Revitalization CompletedHe explained, Jakarta Provincial Government has a big hope to make the fish market to be equal with those which are located in Sidney or Japan.
"This can be a new icon and Mrs. Susi (Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries) also hopes it will not become the last fish market project in Jakarta," he conveyed.
He added, fish market existence can build up communication culture between economy actors. Because sometimes that culture is gone in economy activities.
"We project this market to be a new facility fo
r social interaction, not only for financial interaction," he affirmed.
